By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says current conditions are expected to gradually improve starting today.
In the 24-hour forecast, skies will be cloudy at times today and partly cloudy tonight. A few showers and chances for isolated thunderstorms, mainly along the coast this morning then inland by this afternoon. Then isolated showers or thunderstorms with a few more over the south for tonight.
High temperatures will reach 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland, and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 74 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 64 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is light chop.
There will be high tides at 9:47 this morning and 9:04 tonight and a low tide at 3:13 this afternoon. Sunset is at 5:16 this evening, and sunrise Friday morning is at 5:59
The extended outlook calls for mainly fair conditions with isolated showers for Friday, along with the chance for isolated thunderstorms Friday night.
