Teenager arrested in Shawn Palacio murder investigation

By BBN Staff: Police have arrested an 18-year-old man from Belize City in connection with the shooting death of Shawn Palacio.

The teenager Jahstar Wassani Gonguez has been formally charged for the crime of murder.

Palacio was walking on Mud Street shortly after 6:00 p.m. on November 1, 2021 when a man walked up to him and fired a single shot that took his life.
