Five Belize City men remanded to prison for gang affiliation

By BBN Staff: Five men from various gang-related areas of the South Side of Belize City are on remand at the Belize Central Prison, accused of being members of a gang.

Yesterday afternoon, the 5 men were arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court for the offense, which carries mandatory remand time.

They are Francis Nolberto, Nelson Henry, Kenrick Gordon, Patrick Kerr, and Randy Nelson Green.

They all appeared before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson where they all pleaded not guilty to a single charge of being a member of a gang.

Green is due back in court on January 18, 2022. Nolberto, Gordon, and Henry are due back in court on February 17, 2022, while Kerr is due back on January 19, 2022.
