River waters rising at the Xunantunich Archeological Reserve

By BBN Staff: The Institute of Archaeology (IoA) announced this morning that the Xunantunich Archeological Reserve is open but with some limitations today.

The Institute noted that the reserve is open “with pedestrian crossing only” at the ferry today, due to rising fiver conditions.

All other archeological sites remain open at this time. The public is asked to observe all COVID-19 prevention protocols at the various sites.
