One man sought in shooting incident in Dangriga

By Aaron Humes: Police are searching for one man popularly called “Bones” after a shooting incident in Dangriga Town Tuesday night.

According to 28-year-old Thomas Fernandez, fisherman of Nurse Gamboa Street, he was socializing at a residence on Ramos Road when “Bones” approached from the direction of Stanley Drive into Ramos Road with what appeared to be a firearm in his hand.

Fernandez says “Bones” followed him through the yard and fired about 5 shots in his direction hitting him once to the left leg.

Fernandez was treated at and released from the Southern Regional Hospital. His injuries were classified as grievous harm. A statement was taken and police are now searching for “Bones” as part of their investigation.
