By BBN Staff: Twenty-five-year-old Belize City resident Chrisdale Alexander Courtney has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison on a number of charges related to the shooting of 18-year-old Albert Pou last week.
Courtney appeared unrepresented in the Belize City Magistrates Court to answer to charges of attempted murder, dangerous harm, and use of deadly means of harm.
Due to the nature of the offenses, bail was denied and he was remanded into custody at the Belize Central Prison until January 31, 2022.
Pou was shot multiple while walking on Sarstoon Street on the morning of November 14.
