Belize City still leading daily COVID-19 table as virus infections slow

By Aaron Humes: Belize City reported another 18 cases of COVID-19 today, the single municipality in double figures as new case numbers fell every day this week.

Next is Dangriga with nine cases, followed by Corozal Town with eight.

The northern districts reported 26 cases and San Pedro Town seven.

Out west there were 23 new cases including seven in the Twin Towns, seven in Belmopan and its suburbs, and three in Benque Viejo.

Down south, Stann Creek District and Toledo District together reported 23 new cases, including five in Independence and two in Punta Gorda.

The public is advised to remain vigilant as new threats and challenges arise.
