No new COVID-19 deaths to end week as numbers continue to fall

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports that 105 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 48 hours.

The figure includes 36 positive PCR test results that were not reported in yesterday’s figures due to issues at the Central Medical Laboratory.

Nonetheless there were still more recoveries with 124, a net loss of 19 to take the active case load to 1,138 with 394 samples under investigation.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the figures at 570 overall, 209 in the last 87 days and 76 for November.

Thirty-two persons remain hospitalized, eight in intensive care.

Of 30,165 total cases, 94.2 percent or 28,421 have recovered.
