But with the country and the world tip-toeing back toward normality, ambitious entrepreneurs and antsy partygoers are daring to dream again.
Enter the owners of Itz’ana Resort, which tonight opened a new experience in dining and entertainment, the Biblio Bar.
General Manager of Itz’ana, Juan Carlos Fernandez, said no stone was left unturned in building a new center for elegance and luxury, a place to reconnect with self by reading and relaxing – the “Biblio” of the title.
The bar is being backed by Nicaragua’s renowned Flor de Cana line of aged rums, and aims to establish a foothold when bars and entertainment establishments can fully reopen from COVID-related restrictions.
