Coast Guardsmen injured in traffic accident in Burrell Boom

By Aaron Humes: Police in Burrell Boom are investigating an accident involving two vehicles, one driven by a member of the Belize Coast Guard.

According to police, 22 year old officer Christian Quinto of Ladyville was driving his vehicle from Burrell Boom village to the road junction and upon reaching the curve after Junesville he noticed a car coming from the opposite direction, which drifted over to his right hand side as he couldn’t avoid the car causing him to hit the car front.

The occupants of the second vehicle as well as Quinto were taken to hospital as police investigation continues.
