Ministry of Health holding National Testing Day on occasion of National Aids Day on December 1

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) is holding a National Testing Day on occasion of National Aids Day on December 1.

“Visit our testing sites in collaboration with the National AIDS Commission countrywide on December 1st, 2021. Get tested, know your status,” said the MOHW in a social media statement on Monday.

“End Inequalities, End AIDS. End Pandemics,” is the theme for this year’s World Aids Day.

AIDS testing will be carried out in Corozal Town at the Gabriel Hoare Market from 7:00 to 2:00 pm, in Orange Walk Town at La Inmaculada Credit Union from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, in San Ignacio at the Welcome Center from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, in Dangriga at the Southern Regional Hospital from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, in Belmopan from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, in Belize City at the Cleopatra White Health Center from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and in Punta Gorda at the Central Park from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.

The testing sites will carry out other health related tests such glucose and blood pressure.
