New daily COVID-19 cases below 100 for first time in months

By Aaron Humes: As further evidence of the receding third wave of COVID-19 in Belize, today the Ministry of Health and Wellness reports 93 new confirmed cases, the lowest daily total in months.

With 122 new recoveries, the number of active cases continues to decline to 1,052. 273 samples are under investigation.

The number of hospitalizations and persons in intensive care also went down.

However, four new deaths have been reported.
