By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. There will be light showers offshore and along some coastal areas this morning, moving inland this afternoon and becoming isolated by tonight.
High temperatures are 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland, and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 74 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 68 degrees inland, and 62 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at 5 to 10 knots and the sea state is slight.
Tides are currently high and the next tide will be low at 1:22 this afternoon, then high at 7:21 this evening. The sun sets at 5:16 this evening and rises at 6:06 Thursday morning.
Skies continue mainly fair for Thursday before showers develop over coastal areas Thursday night.
