COVID figure rises after fall in recoveries

Posted: Friday, December 3, 2021. 5:11 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: 62 new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Ministry of Health and Wellness today, continuing a declining trend.

But just five new recoveries were reported, reversing at least for today the trend of falling numbers of active cases.

Heading into the weekend that figure is at 1,086 with 259 samples under investigation.

One new death was reported while the number of hospitalizations from COVID-19 and persons in intensive care fell as well.

More on these in subsequent stories.
