By BBN Staff: BEL advises customers in Belmopan of a power outage on Saturday, December 4, “to relocate high voltage lines and install distribution equipment in the area”.

The area to be affected includes: Tangelo Street, Floral Park Avenue, Lilly Street, Poinsetta Street, Vanda Street, Morning Glory Street, Periwinkle Street, Sunflower Street, Veniana Street, Junction of Floriana Avenue and Orchid Garden Street, Caribbean Street, Caladium Street, Marigold Street, St Vincent Street, Phillip Goldson Boulevard, Michael Finnegan Street, Charles Betson Street, Portion of Clifford Betson Street, Bahamas Street, Cayman Street, Bermuda Street, Barbados Street, Portion of Jamaica Street, Atlantic Avenue, Burtin Fuller Street, Bougainvillas Street, Flambouyant Street, Citron Street, Tangerine Street, Lime Street, Grapefruit Street, Hamlin Street, Kumquat Street, Ortanique Street, Sunshine Street, Earlies Street and Valencia Street.

The power outage will be from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
