By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Cahal Pech Village Resort is celebrating Christmas with its Christmas Pop-up Market today in San Ignacio.
Take the children to take a picture with Santa on Sunday, December 5, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
“We’ll have different promotions from the participating businesses,” said Cahal Pech CEO Tanya Silva.
“The Cooling Rack, the Restaurant at the Resort, will have Christmas lunch boxes that have a variety of stuff like chicken nuggets, fries, and toys. It has a lot of stuff in it for $12.
The Kids’ meals will be available starting at the Po-up Market and all month long at the Cahal Pech Village Resort. The Kiddie Xmas box includes three chicken strips, potato wedges, juice bag, stickers, toy, cookie, and fruit cup.
“We’ll have the Sky Sushi Bar,” Silva said. “The Tiny Cement Factory will be there. They make little cement figurines. We’ll have Sweet Lemon. They do cheesecake-on-a-stick, and they have different pastries. Yoli’s Pizza will be there. They recently got a food-truck and they’ll be there. We’ll have a good variety. We’re hoping to get a lot of families up there. That’s the idea.”
“We’ll have Santa Claus here. You can take a selfie or get your picture taken. We’ll have somebody taking the pictures if you want to purchase,” said Silva. “Just something nice to do with the kids on a Sunday. So, we’ll have Santa there giving out candy as well.”
The Pop-Up Market will also feature Kandles by Kay, The Trinket Box, Kye’ Finds, Ikooma Hair Care, JHS Rumpopo, Ale’s Beach Treasures, Cutesy Crafty Creations, Wild Krafts by Nhissah, and Beads & Pearls.
