Three new deaths reported from COVID-19 over weekend

By Aaron Humes BELIZE CITY, Mon. Dec. 6, 2021. Three more persons joined the ranks of the deceased over the weekend as deaths from COVID-19 inch toward 600.

One female and two males died. One of the deceased was a resident of the Belize District and the others hail from the Cayo District.

Classified by vaccination status, two were unvaccinated and one fully vaccinated.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has adjusted the quarterly statistics to reflect October to December. Hence 168 persons have died in that time, and 582 have died overall, including four in this month.
