By Aaron Humes: Minister of the Public Service Henry Charles Usher has confirmed the retirement of two key administrative figures in the public and security services.
Auditor General Dorothy Bradley is headed to retirement after a long successful career.
The Minister gave her his thanks and said the search for her successor begins by advertising the post, but would not preempt who that successor might be.
Also going on retirement is Brigadier General Steven Ortega, Commander of the Belize Defense Force.
By convention soldiers retire earlier than most due to their heavy workload and so the search begins for a new man in charge at Price Barracks as well.
