Cayo takes turn at head of daily COVID-19 table

By Aaron Humes: As the numbers decline, it seems the districts are taking turns to lead the daily COVID-19 table of new cases long dominated by the mainland Belize District and especially Belize City.

The Old Capital today added just six new cases of 11 for the district and one in San Pedro Town.

The Cayo District added 13 new cases to lead the table, including five in San Ignacio, two in Benque Viejo and one each in Belmopan and Maya Mopan.

The northern districts combined for six new cases between them and the South 11, though only two in Punta Gorda and none in Dangriga.
