By BBN Staff: A Belize City man who was already out on bail with respect to a robbery charge was denied bail in court yesterday after he was charged for another robbery.
Tevin Abraham is scheduled to appear in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today over a robbery charge but found himself in court yesterday charged with the same offense in a separate matter.
Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford took into consideration his pending case and remanded him to the Belize Central Prison.
He was jointly charged with two others for the armed robbery of Basilio Novelo, who alleges they stole almost $14,000 in cash from him at gunpoint back in August.
Being charged with an offense while on bail is a violation of bail and he may face having his bail revoked in court today.
This is a developing story.
