Belize Weather: Rain breaking up mild Sunday

The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies with sunny breaks today and mostly cloudy skies tonight.

There will be a few showers countrywide this morning and a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Showers will become isolated this afternoon then redevelop over the coast tonight.

High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland, and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 76 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland, and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the east to northeast at 10 to 20 knots and the sea state is light chop to choppy.

Tides will be low at 11:23 this morning and high at 5:38 this evening. Sunset is at 5:19 this evening and sunrise on Monday is at 6:13.

The extended forecast calls for fair weather and isolated showers, increasing mostly along the coast at night.
