James Aranda shot in Dangriga

By BBN Staff: A man was shot in the Sabals Community area of Dangriga last night.

Police say that James Aranda was riding his bicycle from the direction of the “back a town” area into the Sabals community when a man walking along the canal side pulled out a gun and fired several shots at him.

He was hit to the right leg, and someone driving by rendered assistance taking him to the Southern Regional Hospital for treatment. He is currently admitted under observation.

Police are investigating.
