Prime Minister John Briceño and Mayor Bernard Wagner celebrate senior citizen’s birthday

By Aaron Humes: Leonora Patnett is celebrating her 108th birthday today, making her among Belize City’s oldest residents.

And she had two special guests in town to help her celebrate – Mayor Bernard Wagner and Prime Minister John Briceño.

Born in 1913, Mrs. Leonora has a milestone many do not experience and was around for some of the earliest events in modern Belizean history.

The Belize City Council delivered a birthday cake, a personalized birthday card, balloons, and an extra packed care package including grocery items, vitamins, hygienic products, and much more.

Mrs. Leonora Patnett and her daughter Mrs. Rita Flowers shared great stories with Prime Minister Briceño and Mayor Wagner as she welcomed them into her home.
