Teenage girl from San Ignacio, Cayo, reported missing

By Benjamin Flowers: Police are asking the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old San Ignacio resident Xichel Lorena Santos.

Santos, who lives on the corner of Bullet Tree Road and Church Street, San Ignacio Town was reported missing today. Police say she was last seen around 8:30 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Santos is described as being of brown complexion, medium build, standing about 5 feet 5 inches in height with black hair and a scar on the right corner of her upper lip. She was last seen wearing long black jeans pants, a blue blouse, black tennis shoes, and a red hat.

Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to call 911, 922 or the San Ignacio Police Station at 804-2022.
