Handfuls of Covid-19 cases in Belize and Cayo Districts detected

By Aaron Humes: The mainland Belize District recorded 13 of today’s new case load, ten of those in Belize City, while San Pedro Town reported another seven.

The other Belize District cases were in Ladyville (two) and Gales Point (one).

The Cayo District added nine new cases, including three in Benque Viejo, two each in Belmopan and Santa Elena Town and one each in San Ignacio Town and Esperanza village.

The North and South together each recorded three new cases: one each in Corozal Town, Orange Walk Town, Punta Gorda Town, Santa Martha village, Orange Walk; Independence, Stann Creek, and Golden Stream in the north-central Toledo District
