By Aaron Humes: The number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19 as of today, Wednesday, increased by one from Tuesday’s report with 12 persons.

Nine of these are unvaccinated, two partially vaccinated and one fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile, three of these 12 persons are in intensive care, all unvaccinated.

Belizeans are reminded to get vaccinated if able as those who stand the best chance of recovery from COVID, though it depends on the level of infection and risk factors for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
