Ramon Galvez wins 3rd COVID-19 Vaccination Raffle

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Ramon Galvez won $3,000 as the grand winner of the 3rd COVID-19 Vaccination Raffle held on Monday by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

In an effort to increase the vaccination campaign that has slowed down after it passed the 200,000 mark, the MOHW is doing this raffle which will run for eight weeks.

On Monday, December 13, Ruth Gentle and Martha Novelo won the second prizes of $1,000 each while Shanidy Vasquez, Dyriann C Ek, Dalia Pott, Elna Zuniga, and Keylin Ramos won the five third prizes valued at $500 each.

In the second COVID-19 Vaccination Raffle on December 6, Jose Mejia won the first prize of $3,000. Michelle Sutherland and Earl Panting won the $1,000 each, while Adrian L. Chi, Concha Hernandez, Emmanuel Augustine, Rocilo Keme, and Penelope Stone won $500 each.

Ariel Duartez won the $3,000 in the first COVID-19 Vaccination Raffle on December 1. Adrian Westby and Eddyson Doris won the $1,000 each, while won Edgar Tunn, Vianey Gonzalez, Candida Allen, Dina Casteñeda and Maria Gutierrez won the $500 each.

“Remember, to enter the raffle you can visit your nearest vaccination site and get either your 1st dose, 2nd dose, or booster shot,” said the MOHW.

This week’s raffle was the third of eight raffles which will be held every week live on the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Facebook page on Mondays at 2 pm.

The MOHW said the winners of this week’s raffle may claim their prizes at the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ headquarters in Belmopan anytime next week from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The winners need to present a valid identification card, proof of vaccination, their social security card, and the ticket stub showing their ticket number and proof of banking documents.
