Robbers storm home in police gear

By Aaron Humes: Police are looking for up to 4 persons believed to have impersonated law enforcement during a home invasion Tuesday evening.

A homeowner of Mile 15, Philip Goldson Highway, reported that four armed men entered his residence around 5:45 in the evening. One was dressed in police uniform, two in camouflage uniforms, and one wearing a white t-shirt and black 3/4 pants.

The men handcuffed him, demanded he hand over drugs and firearms, and stole a $300 cellphone, 50 dollars cash, and a Dewalt power battery valued at 150 dollars before escaping in an SUV toward Ladyville.

Police investigation continues.
