Cost of Diesel fuel going down by more than a dollar

By Benjamin Flowers: The Government of Belize announced today that there will be another adjustment to the pump price of fuel, this one affecting the cost of Diesel.

According to the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the pump price of diesel will decrease by $1.25 from $11.70 to $10.45 per gallon as of December 17, 2021.

The MOF added that prices for premium gasoline, regular gasoline, and kerosene will remain unchanged at $12.49, $11.77, and $8.42 per gallon, respectively.

“The Government of Belize is monitoring the price movements and supply conditions closely and will work with the fuel industry to safeguard the pump prices paid by Belizean consumers,” GOB said.

The change marks the 29th price adjustment for fuel for 2021 and the second for the month of December.
