Four senior cops from Eastern Division sent off with farewell luncheon

By Aaron Humes: A year of turnover in the Belize Police Department continues with the departures on Thursday of Senior Superintendents of Police Lynden Flowers and Sinquest Martinez; Superintendent Dinsdale Thompson; and Assistant Superintendent of Police Ernel Dominguez, all on pre-retirement leave.

Commissioner Chester Williams told the press that the four leave a “void” in Eastern Division, where they have all been stationed for some time.

And so it is “sad” that their Police careers have come to an end, but their departures leave an opportunity to inject new blood into the nation’s largest Police Division.

Commissioner Williams led a luncheon and gift giving event in Belize City where the four accepted gifts and tokens of appreciation from their fellows.
