Belize Weather: Conditions improving entering Christmas week

The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be isolated but there is a chance of afternoon inland isolated thunderstorms. High temperatures today are 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees inland, and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight temperatures fall to 74 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is choppy.

Tides will be high at 10:47 this morning and 9:47 this evening and low at 3:45 this afternoon. Sunset is at 5:22 and sunrise on Monday is at 6:17 in the morning.

Monday sees continued improvement with cloudy spells and a few mornings coastal showers becoming isolated later.
