Planned power outage announced for Belize District this week

By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited has announced that there will be a scheduled power outage for the Belize District on Wednesday, December 22.

The outage is set to run from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

Areas to be affected are the portion Sandhill after Maskall junction heading north, Grace Bank, Maypen, Gardenia, Biscayne, Crooked Tree, and Rhaburn Ridge.

BEL announced that the outage is necessary to “install distribution structures as part of system expansion works in Gardenia and Biscayne.”
