20 year old Toledo man arrested and charged after being caught with homemade handgun

By Aaron Humes: Toledo Police have arrested and charged Saymon Chiac, 20, of San Pedro Columbia, Toledo District, for keeping a prohibited firearm, after he was caught with a homemade handgun.

Police were on mobile patrol in the village around 8 on Sunday morning when they saw Chiac under a bus stop and decided to search him.

During the search police found the handgun along with a short machete and an orange plastic gun. It is not clear if there was any intent by Chiac to use any of the weapons that he was found with.
