501 Valvoline’s Joshua Fuller mashes the competition to win the Monbat Power Race 100-mile race on Sunday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Joshua Fuller of Team 501 Valvoline won the Monbat Power Race 100-mile race in a solo-run from the Mile 8 roundabout on Sunday, December 19.

Fuller clocked 4 hours, two minutes, and 44 seconds (4:02:44) for the 100-mile race.

His teammate junior rider Derrick Chavarria was 2nd in 4:06:44.

After Fuller got away on the return journey from Belize City to Belmopan, he raked 16 station prizes.

The race started at Westrac in Belmopan, headed to Belize City, and returned to finish at the Governor General’s Field in the capital.

In the first leg from Belmopan to Belize City, Shane Jones grabbed ten station prizes, but later he disappeared finishing 18th in the final classification.

Fuller’s teammate Derrick Chavarria rode in second exactly four minutes behind Fuller finishing in 4:06:44.

Shaun Codd finished third.

Brandon Cattouse was next in fourth place ahead of Jafari Castro who took 5th, Oscar Quiroz 6th, Joslyn Chavarria Jr 7th, Devin Azueta 8th, Sherwin Roca 9th, and Giovanni Lovell 10th.

Tevin Chaplin finished 11th, Kevin Gentle 12th, Eric Trap 13th, Byron Pope 14th, Gilroy Robinson 15th, Greg Lovel 16th, Goran Gabourel 17th, and Shane Jones 18th.
