Barranco Sky Ferry inaugurates service

By Aaron Humes: Only 10 miles by road from Punta Gorda Town, Barranco in the deep south may as well as be a world away due to terrible road conditions.

But according to PGTV, the Sky Ferry is back as of today, running four days a week from Barranco to Punta Gorda.

The Ferry runs Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, leaving Barranco at 7 a.m. and returning at 12 noon.

Barranco is the oldest coastal village and most southern in Belize. It was the home of the late great Andy Palacio and Paul Nabor among many others.
