BREAKING: Vehicle crashes near San Ignacio police station following brake malfunction

By Hugh O’Brien: A traffic accident near the San Ignacio Police Station occurred a short while ago causing traffic to back up on a busy Monday in downtown San Ignacio.

The accident occurred due to a brake malfunction causing the driver of a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup to lose control of the vehicle while traveling down Buena Vista Street next to the Police Station. The vehicle hit the wall near the Police Station and ended up between the wall and another pickup that was parked next to the Police Station.

Luckily no one was hurt in the accident.

Police are currently on the scene and are guiding traffic in the area.
