Prime Minister John Briceño promises to keep housing going

Posted: Monday, December 20, 2021. 9:38 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister John Briceño joined his Minister of Housing Julius Espat to deliver the first of many houses to a family in Roaring Creek.

On social media the Prime Minister reflected on the handover saying, “Ensuring a home for needy families… after the years of a dormant Ministry of Housing, our administration’s Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing handed over the first home to Ms. Karina Roaches in Roaring Creek. I was proud to stand alongside Hon. Julius Espat as we prepare to hand over 20 more homes during this week.”

And as he reminded, it is all a part of #planbelize: “Making promises a reality… working PlanBelize for every Belizean family. #PlanBelize”

A total of 85 houses are due to be completed in the coming months with thousands more promised.
