New COVID cases limited to central districts

By Aaron Humes: San Pedro Town and the mainland Belize and Cayo Districts reported the majority of today’s new cases of COVID-19.

Belize City added seven new cases, the most of any reporting center, with two each in San Pedro Town, Caye Caulker and Selena village in Cayo.

Other cases were reported in Crooked Tree, Ladyville, Lord’s Bank, Belmopan, Benque Viejo, Cristo Rey, Santa Elena Town and Saint Margaret.

Other cases countrywide were reported in Corozal Town (three), Orange Walk Town and Hopkins, Stann Creek District.
