One more hospitalized COVID-19 patient sent to intensive care

By Aaron Humes: The number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19 as of today, Tuesday, is steady with 11 persons hospitalized.

Five of these are unvaccinated, three partially vaccinated and two fully vaccinated. The other is of uncertain status.

Meanwhile, five of these 13 persons are in intensive care, up from four on Monday.

Two are unvaccinated, one partially vaccinated and two are fully vaccinated.

Belizeans are reminded to get vaccinated if able as those who are stand the best chance of recovery from COVID, though it depends on the level of infection and risk factors for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
