Hospitalizations and ICU patient figures down

By Aaron Humes: The number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19 as of today, Wednesday, is down by one; only 10 persons are currently hospitalized.

Five of these 10 individuals are unvaccinated, two partially vaccinated and three fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile, three of these 10 persons are in intensive care, down by one from the four that were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Tuesday.

One of the patient in the ICU is unvaccinated, one partially vaccinated and one is fully vaccinated.

Belizeans are reminded to get vaccinated if able as those who are stand the best chance of recovery from COVID, though it depends on the level of infection and risk factors for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
