New COVID cases return in San Pedro Town, Orange Walk and South

By Aaron Humes: While Belize City reported the newest cases today with 14, several reporting centers were hot on their heels.

Nine new cases were reported in San Pedro Town; five in Punta Gorda Town and four in Orange Walk Town, all areas which a few days ago had recorded no new cases.

By region, the mainland Belize District accounts for 28 new cases (a total of 37 for the entire Belize District when San Pedro’s caseload is added; the North nine; the West nine, the majority in the major towns; and the South 11, including two each in Dangriga and Placencia.
