One less person hospitalized with COVID-19; one more in intensive care

By Aaron Humes: Nine persons remain hospitalized with COVID-19 as of today, Thursday, down one from yesterday.

Of these, five are unvaccinated; one partially vaccinated, and three fully vaccinated.
Meanwhile, four of these nine hospitalized persons are in the intensive care unit, up to one from Wednesday.
One patient is unvaccinated; one is partially vaccinated and two are fully vaccinated.

Belizeans are reminded to get their vaccinations whether first or second dose or booster shots if they have both, as the vaccine remains the best chance of recovery from COVID depending on the level of infection and presence of risk factors for non-communicable diseases and other co-morbidities such as diabetes and hypertension.
