Government gives the gift of lower gas prices this Christmas

By BBN Staff: The Government of Belize (GOB) has announced that the pump price of Premium fuel is going down on Christmas Day.

GOB, via the Ministry of Finance, said that effective Saturday, December 25, 2021, the pump price of premium gasoline will decrease by 48 cents from $12.49 to $12.01 per gallon.

“The prices for regular gasoline, kerosene, and diesel will remain unchanged at $11.40, $7.62, and $10.45 per gallon, respectively,” GOB added.

The change represents the 31st price adjustment for the cost of fuel for the year 2021 and the fifth for the month of December.
