Two more persons hospitalized with COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: 11 persons remain hospitalized with COVID-19 as of today, Friday, up two from yesterday, Thursday.

Of these, six are unvaccinated; two are partially vaccinated, and three are fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile, four persons among these nine are in the intensive care unit, same as Thursday

One patient is unvaccinated; two partially vaccinated and one fully vaccinated.

Belizeans are reminded to get their vaccinations whether first or second dose or booster shots if they have both, as the vaccine remains the best chance of recovery from COVID depending on the level of infection and presence of risk factors for non-communicable diseases and other comorbidities such as diabetes and hypertension.
