Belize Weather: Simply having a wonderful Christmas time

By Aaron Humes: The weather could not be better this Christmas Day according to the National Meteorological Service.

Mild and relatively dry conditions prevail and except for a few light showers along Southern coastal areas this morning and tonight and isolated showers elsewhere, skies will be sunny all day with some cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight.

High temperatures today are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 87 degrees inland and 74 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight are 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 63 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the east to northeast at 5 to 15 knots and sea state is light chop.

Tides are low at 8:37 this morning and 8:27 this evening and high at 2:53 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:25 this evening and rises on Sunday at 6:20.

For Boxing Day it will be mostly fair with isolated showers mainly over the south.
