Trailer carrying heavy duty roller involved in traffic accident in the Cayo District

By Hugh O’Brien: A traffic accident between a trailer carrying a heavy duty roller and a SUV occurred late this evening near the roundabout in Blackman Eddy Village in the Cayo District.

A pickup truck, carrying the trailer and the roller, was heading in the direction of Belmopan when the incident occurred. The heavy duty roller was so wide that it ripped into the window of a SUV that was traveling in the opposite direction.

Luckily no one was injured.

Police and traffic officials arrived shortly after and took control of the accident scene, effectively managing the flow of traffic in the area.
