By Aaron Humes: With five new deaths reported from the month of November, Belize is coming ever closer to another unwanted milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, “There are five deaths being reported today, these are all from the month of November 2021 but the validation process was completed today.”

Two of the deceased were male, three female.

By district, one was from mainland Belize District and the others were each from Stann Creek (2) and Toledo (2). All, save one who was partially vaccinated, were unvaccinated.

The national total is 597, with 88 total deaths now reported in November and 15 in December.
