More COVID-19 patients leaving the hospital

By Aaron Humes: Nine persons remain hospitalized with COVID-19 as of today, Monday, down two from Friday.

Of these, four are unvaccinated; two partially vaccinated; and two fully vaccinated. The other is of uncertain status.

Meanwhile, four persons among these nine are in the intensive care unit, same as Friday. (There appears to be an error in the graphic where it says three persons are in ICU but four are depicted as stick figures).

Belizeans are reminded to get their vaccinations whether first or second dose, or booster shots if they have both, as the vaccine remains the best chance of recovery from COVID depending on the level of infection and presence of risk factors for non-communicable diseases and other comorbidities such as diabetes and hypertension.
