Director of Tourism meets with music legend Kanye West and music executive J Prince

By BBN Staff: Multi-platinum rapper, songwriter and producer, Ye “Kanye” West is in Belize, and Director of Tourism Evan Tillett was there to greet him when he arrived.

West arrived in Belize via the Philip Goldson International Airport earlier today, along with Chief Executive Officer of Rap-a-Lot Records James Prince also known as J Prince.

The BTB heartily welcomes James and Kanye to Belize and wishes them a fruitful, enjoyable, and memorable vacation in the Jewel,” the Belize Tourism Board said in a statement after their arrival.

West is currently trending online after releasing a video addressing issues with another rap superstar, Drake, and his arrival in Belize is sure to have the country trending as well.

J Prince had Belize trending earlier this year when he described Belize as a place “close to heaven,” further solidifying the country’s status as a “must visit” destination in the region.
