Perfect Gift of Canton Stables wins Thoroughbred Citrus Mile in Boxing Day Horse Racing at Castleton Track

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Perfect Gift of Canton Stables with Enrique ‘Mini’ Ramirez on the mount, won the Thoroughbred Classic Citrus Mile in the Boxing Day Horse Races at Castleton Racetrack in Burrell Boom according to Gilbert Canton, chairman of the Castleton Racetrack.

 

D Banner Stables’ Little United was second, Brittany Stables’ Padan finished third, and United Stables’ Best Be Telling was fourth.

 

The second biggest race of the day, the Benny’s Thoroughbred Sprint (six furlongs), was dominated by United Stables’ Kiss The Rain, followed in second place by D Banner’s Seismic Jolt and in third by Flowers/Gillett Stables’ Aussie Gold. Charlesworth Stables’ Luz Estrella was fourth and D Banner Stables’ Anabella finished fifth.

 

Oak Tree Stables’ Duke won the B Class six-furlong race. He was followed by Canton’s Fina’s Girl in second, Orozco Stables’ Make Them Proud in third, and Britanny’s Sir Wallace in fourth.

 

Princess Dawn of Ian Padron Stables took the C Class five-furlong race. Canton’s Symmetry was second.

 

The Sir Gilbert Memorial D Class five-furlong race was won by Britanny’s Boss Lady. Canton Stables took second with D’Jewel and third with Kinetic.

 

The Protel Handicap E Class four furlong race was claimed by Britanny Stables’ Cosita. Second Place was taken by Jason Smith Stables’ Village Boy, third place was captured by Guy Stables Corona, while Freddy Banner Stables took fourth with Trendsetter.

 

The F Class Alvan Bodden Memorial Race (four furlongs) was dominated by Russel Stables’ 24 Seven, followed by Guy Stables’ Felicidades in second, Gentle Stables’ OG in third, and Orozco stables’ Holy Drive in fourth.

 

The G Class three furlong race was won by Grinage Stables’ Yellow Man. Charlesworth Stables Amber Rose took second. The third-place belonged to 44K and the fourth to Jah Stables’ Jah Prince.
